How secure is my data?
Data captured from Tally is saved in a local database whose security can be controlled by you. The local desktop PowerBI dashboards run locally with a connection to this database. In case you are using PowerBI subscription on the web the data security is managed by Microsoft and offers best-in-class security features for data protection. In no case your Tally data flows to us.
On the first import Tally Connector syncs all data from Tally. Thereafter only incremental data is fetched.
Any changes to previously entered vouchers, backed dated entries, deletion of entries is taken care as part of the sync process
Tally connector provides an inbuilt tool to upload budget data at Cost Center – Ledger level or only at ledger level. You will be provided with an
excel template in which you can feed in the data and upload into the reporting database. Further data can be uploaded for a year at one go or monthly.
Also, you will have an option to alter the uploaded data.
Tally Connector provides an in-built tool to upload sales target in multiple ways :
Stock Item target - Quantity / Amount / Both
Customer target - Amount
Customer Item target – Quantity / Amount / Both
Also there is an option available to upload at group level or individual customer / item level
Yes. We have provided an option to map customers with to up to 5 user defined dimensions like Salesperson, Region, Area, Segment, Category etc. Using these
dimension reports can be provided. We even have a Salesperson analysis report in the sales dashboard.
Yes. Tally Connector provided options to captured data from customized fields. However, to include the fields are reporting level will be some customization required which may be chargeable on actuals.
Yes. We share the database documents using which you can write your own SQL queries to develop reports and dashboards. Alternatively, if you do not have SQL expertise, you can use the predefined views and design your reports and dashboards in Power BI. We can also provide customized reports and dashboards as a service to you.
The number of companies allowed is as per the license purchased by you. Please refer the Pricing section for details.
There is no limit from our side on the number of reports and dashboards which you can create. However, Microsoft PowerBI terms and conditions will apply to you as a user.
As of January 2022 Power BI for desktop is available free to use and you should purchase subscriptions to enjoy all the features of PowerBI. However, we advise you to check on the Microsoft official PowerBI website for any changes to their policy.
